C2k Project Board

The C2k Project is tasked with delivering to schools the infrastructure, connectivity and resources to meet the requirements of the Northern Ireland ET Strategy. The C2k Project Board provides the main link between the stakeholders within the Education Service and the Project itself. The Project Board members are appointed from among the key stakeholders to provide overall direction to and management of the Project. The Board is responsible for:

  • the overall conduct of the Project;
  • monitoring progress, timescales and costs;
  • reviewing identified resource requirements at various stages of the Project and making recommendations as appropriate;
  • providing the C2k Director with advice and guidance on policy implications, both known and emergent, and directing the procurement strategy to support the stated aims and objectives;
  • recommending the tolerance levels within which the Director will operate; and
  • ensuring that the Project objectives and deliverables are completed to specification.
